  • Founding members are the Maryland visual artists who join The Collective before Dec 31, 2026. You are getting in while we are still building up the membership. You get full access to The Collective at half the regular price—$50/year instead of $100. And, more importantly, you get in on the ground floor and can help shape the future of the community.

  • Any Maryland visual artist at any stage—emerging, established, or somewhere in between. If you're creating art and/or building a practice in Maryland, you belong here!

  • Most arts organizations are event-based or grant-focused. The Collective is community-first. It's a year-round space where Maryland visual artists connect, share knowledge, and grow together.

  • Yes and yes. The Collective is a private, members-only platform with no ads and no algorithms deciding what you see. Just the amazing community and the shared content.

  • Yes! Members get 50% off their independent artist registration for the annual Artist Open Studios Tour. That alone covers most of your membership cost.
